NAME

sha1 - Calculates the sha1 hash of a string.

SYNOPSIS

sha1(str)

PARAMETERS

str
The input string.

RETURN

Returns the hash as a 40-character hexadecimal number.

EXAMPLES

Note: In the followings examples, the _ between the { should be removed to make it work.

res={_{sha1("pierre")}}. return res=ff019a5748a52b5641624af88a54a2f0e46a9fb5.
